Work progresses on Heffron Park Netball Courts shade structure

Construction of the shade structure at Heffron Park’s netball courts is progressing, with columns installed and most drainage and electrical work completed on 22 August 2024. The project is being carried out in stages, with the first phase focusing on covering three courts, installing lighting and upgrading footpaths and drainage. Next, a new 3-metre-wide footpath will be added along the southern end of the courts. The turf around the courts will also be restored and rafters, further lighting and a complete shade structure with gutters and downpipes will be installed.
