To celebrate, amigos will be offered two for one burritos!

Making it easy to enjoy authentic and delicious Mexican food by the beach this summer, Mad Mex has announced the re-opening of its Maroubra restaurant and an event on Saturday 12th November to celebrate a fresh new look.

Hosting a VIP event to mark the occasion, Cr Dylan Parker, the Mayor of Randwick, will be in  attendance to show his support to the local restaurant which will once again be serving fresh and  healthy food to the local community.

With the re-opening the beach shack inspired Maroubra restaurant will offer Mexican aficionados a  spectacular dining experience in its 110 square-meter dine-in space and 35 square-metre outdoor space. Franchisee Himansu Patel will continue to run this as his second store after taking the reins for Mad Mex’s  inaugural store on Crown St Darlinghurst.

Patel said, “I’m excited to be taking on a second restaurant and think the refurbishment looks great.  I can’t wait for the Maroubra community to head in-store and see the changes – both those who  have been with the restaurant over the years and those who are keen to try Mad Mex for the first  time.”

Clovis Young, Mad Mex founder and CEO says, “At Mad Mex we live and breathe the philosophy of  Fresh Fuel for Life which is why we wanted to give our Maroubra restaurant a new look to match.  We know the local community is excited for the re-opening and while the interior may have  changed, our commitment to great food and service has not.”

“Whether you’re dropping in for a quick bite, or to enjoy the rich, authentic flavours of Mexico with  your familia, we’re sure that you’re going to love the vibrant, casual and comfy ambiance of our all new look.”

Nationally, Mad Mex is expecting to roll out its new-look stores over the next 12 months in-line with  its continued i expansion across the country. The re-opened Maroubra restaurant is the 6th  restaurant to have undergone renovation this year with a further two restaurants set to re-open  before the end of the year.

To celebrate the re-opening, Mad Mex is offering two for one burritos1and will have a DJ in-store.  We would love to spread word of the re-opening in the community ahead of the event and, would  also like to invite media to attend.
