Arden Street Bus stop upgrade, community feedback

Randwick Council is planning to upgrade the public amenities, bus shelter and kiosk at Goldstein Reserve on Arden Street, Coogee Beach. The Randwick council has  developed two design options for community feedback. OPTION 1: REFURBISHMENT The refurbishment option involves renovating the buildings and maintaining the existing visual style. New staircase for South Coogee rockpool

Plans for a new staircase to the Ivo Rowe Rockpool, nestled along the Coastal, at 1R Bunya Parade at South Coogee, are now under way to improve safety and accessibility to the pool. The new staircase will replace the current concrete, rocky stairs and will be constructed of fibre reinforced polymer minimesh and stainless steel to protect it from the harsh coastal elements. The project will consist of three main stages: Design: Expected to be completed by July 2024. Procurement and fabrication: Up to two months.
