Beach Breaks is a free community event that celebrates the proud and colourful surfing history and culture of Maroubra Beach. Located at Maroubra Beach Promenade (near the Cr of McKeon Street and Marine Parade) and McKeon St Plaza. We enjoyed live music, stalls, food, entertainment, kids activities and much more throughout the day.
Australian Surfing Walk of Fame 2025
The Australian Surfing Walk of Fame is a presentation that takes place at 1pm during our Beach Breaks event, where the achievements and dedication of local surfers and surf lifesavers were recognised.

Southern Beaches Boardriders Storm
Southern Beaches Boardriders Storm, is a new surfing teams event that incorporates boardriders teams from Bondi through to La Perouse with divisions Under 12’s, Under 16’s, Under 18’s, Under 20’s, Open Men’s and Open Women’s.
