Tucked away in North Bondi, Barracluff Park is a much-loved sport and recreation hub offering something for every age group. Officially opened in 1910 and named after Alderman Barracluff, a former Mayor of Waverley Council, this historic park continues to be a go-to destination for local families, sports lovers and dog owners alike.

A Playground That Truly Includes Everyone

The standout feature is the large inclusive playground, designed to cater for toddlers through to primary-aged children. At its heart is a multi-storey play tower complete with slides, climbing nets, a fire pole, musical instruments and sensory puzzles that encourage collaborative and imaginative play.

The surrounding open spaces make it easy for parents to relax while keeping an eye on the kids, and the accessible paths ensure the playground can be enjoyed by all members of the community.

Courts, Fields and Space to Move

Barracluff Park is more than just a playground. It features a half multi-use court with a tennis wall, netball and basketball rings, plus handball line markings — perfect for after-school games, shooting hoops or a quick hit with friends.

There are also turf sports fields with lighting available for hire, making the park a popular venue for structured sport, training sessions and community competitions.
