Mike Hewson: The Key’s Under the Mat transforms the Art Gallery’s remarkable underground exhibition space, the Nelson Packer Tank, into an interactive art park where visitors are encouraged to explore, climb, create, relax and connect.
Created by internationally acclaimed artist Mike Hewson, the installation blurs the boundaries between artwork, playground and community gathering space. It’s an experience unlike anything else currently on offer in Sydney and one that families will be talking about long after they leave.

The Nelson Packer Tank has been transformed into a sprawling sculptural neighbourhood featuring:
