Describe an ideal day in Sydney’s eastern suburbs for you?
A run in the morning with my running group, then rest while reading a book. Lunch at yum cha, followed by a Malabar headland walk and a swim at Maroubra Beach.
Finally a picnic dinner (with the dog) overlooking Mahon Pool.
What area of the east have you yet to explore much but would like to?
Further south on Anzac Parade, I’d like to see more of Little Bay and explore more of the beaches around La Perouse.
Work or SAHM:
I work from home, writing novels. My third book, The Passengers, came out with Allen & Unwin in March this year.
Motherly advice:
Kids are never too old to be read to. Right now we’re working our way through J.K. Rowling (we’re up to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix).
Also if they see you reading for enjoyment, your children are more likely to pick up a book and do the same.
Special Event this Tuesday 22nd May 2018 at Harry Hartog at Westfield Bondi Junction, an in-conversation with Susan Wyndham about The Passengers.
