How long have you lived in Sydney’s east?
I’ve lived in the Eastern Suburbs for 15 years. The past 13 in Coogee + 2 years in Randwick prior to that.
How many children?
I have 2 boys. Haiden is 12 & Jesse 9.
Favourite Beach?
We love catching up with friends at Coogee & we’ll head over to North Bondi if the boys want a surf.
Favourite park?
Definitely Centennial park. I have so many happy memories of my mums group catch up’s at Centennial Park & the kids love going to the running clubs at Centennial.
Favourite local kid friendly café?
It’s hard to keep my two down so a take away from Chish & Fips at Coogee whilst the kids have a swim or a game of cricket on the grass is always a winner!
Favourite local Day Out Activity?
The coast walk to Bondi followed by a lunch at North Bondi RSL, especially on Sundays when we can try our luck at the seafood raffle.
Favourite local shop?
I’m torn between Coogee Surf Shop & Cargo on Coogee Bay Road!
Ideal day in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs?
A morning run followed by some beach time with the kids & then a long lunch at home with family & friends.
Local areas of the east yet to explore?
My youngest Jesse has just discovered snorkelling after a holiday in Fiji so I think we’ll be spending more time exploring the waters of Gordon’s Bay & Clovelly in the near future.
Work or SAHM?
Self employed at Smashcake.
I started my business back in 2009 when the kids were little & I’ve loved every single second of it. I’ve been fortunate to have met many lovely local families & kids through my work which I feel very fortunate for. I believe I have the best job in the world!
