Wildflower Connections is a local speech pathology practice based in Coogee, dedicated to supporting neurodivergent young people and their families across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. With a focus on upper primary students, teenagers, and young adults (approximately ages 10–35), Wildflower Connections offers a fresh, affirming approach to communication support that goes far beyond traditional speech therapy.
Founded by Speech Pathologist Jess Harris, Wildflower Connections was born from Jess’s passion for creating a space where neurodivergent young people feel truly understood. With over six years’ experience working across schools, clinics, homes, and community settings, Jess has developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges and strengths of Autistic, ADHD, and AuDHD young people, as well as those with Developmental Language Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other communication differences. Her approach is shaped by both her professional expertise and her own lived experience of neurodivergence, ensuring support is always practical, respectful, and genuinely affirming.
Wildflower Connections offers individualised speech pathology sessions that address the complex communication, social, and executive functioning demands that arise as young people grow older. Support can include help with expressing and organising thoughts, study and executive functioning skills, understanding complex language, navigating friendships and relationships, self-advocacy, and managing transitions through school, university, work, and adulthood. Sessions are tailored to each young person’s strengths, goals, and everyday life, and are available at home, school, university, or in the community throughout Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, with Telehealth options available Australia-wide.
