Looking for an imaginative and engaging school holiday activity that will keep your child entertained while building confidence and creativity? This winter, Ensemble Youth Studio invites young people to step into a world of adventure, storytelling and performance with two exciting drama workshops running from 6–10 July.
Held at the iconic Ensemble Theatre in Kirribilli, these week-long workshops give children the opportunity to learn from professional teaching artists, make new friends and experience the thrill of performing on a professional stage.
Animal Antics (Ages 5–8)
Perfect for younger performers with big imaginations, Animal Antics takes children on a playful theatrical journey inspired by the animal kingdom.
Through drama games, movement activities, storytelling and creative play, participants will transform into their favourite creatures, create animal characters and explore exciting stories together.
Witches, Warlocks & Wizards (Ages 8–12)
Calling all aspiring spellcasters, magical creatures and fantasy fans!
Young performers will enter a world of enchantment, mystery and adventure as they create magical characters, cast spells and bring fantastical stories to life through drama and performance.
A Professional Theatre Experience
Participants learn inside one of Australia’s most respected theatre companies and are guided by experienced teaching artists who are passionate about helping young people develop confidence and creativity.
The Big Finale
At the end of the week, students will perform on the Ensemble Theatre stage for family and friends, celebrating everything they’ve learned throughout the workshop.
