Australia Day in the Randwick Council area offers families the chance to come together, connect with community, and enjoy a day filled with fun, culture and entertainment across two beautiful locations.
Australia Day Community Celebrations at Kensington Park
Kensington Park will come alive with laughter, music and movement as families are invited to enjoy a relaxed morning of free activities and live entertainment. With something for kids of all ages, it’s the perfect way to spend Australia Day with the local community.
Little ones can enjoy face painting, giant bubbles and circus-style games, while roving cheeky bush clowns add extra fun throughout the park. There’ll also be basketball skills and games on the half-court, free photo magnets to take home, and live music from Electric Avenue creating a lively atmosphere.
And to help everyone stay cool, free ice cream will be available (one scoop per person, while stocks last). A selection of food trucks will also be on-site serving up delicious meals and treats for the whole family.
