Since 1968, Waverley Woollahra Art School (WWAS) has provided an extensive program of quality art classes for children, delivered by practising artists. Many former students now bring their own children and grandchildren to our celebrated school holiday workshops and after school classes. Half or full day programs are available for children aged 6-11 whilst a full day teens program caters for students aged 12 and up and offers a wonderful alternative to screen time and sports camps! Courses include painting in a range of mediums, drawing, ceramics, sculpture and printmaking.
WWAS is a not-for-profit cooperative with an impressive alumni of emerging and prize-winning artists. It has grown into a much loved and highly regarded arts hub of Sydney’s eastern suburbs, offering a range of art courses, talks, workshops, prizes and exhibitions.
