Randwick Council is planning to upgrade the playground at Wills Reserve on Duke Street, Kensington.
The reserve provides a quiet, leafy escape for local families who enjoy the park’s grassy area for ball sports, walking the dog, and playing in the playground.
We’ve received feedback about the playground’s aging equipment and worn-out rubber surface. In response, we’ve developed a concept design that will give the playground a fresh, new look.
The design includes:
- Multi-play equipment with climbing nets and slides
- New swings
- Toddler spring rider
- Carousel
- New bright, two colour soft fall in the fenced playground area
- More seating
- Refreshed garden beds
The voice tubes, bike training course, and shade sail will all remain.
We would love to hear your thoughts on the concept design so that together, we can make Wills Reserve a place where everyone wants to play!
Have your say:
