Wills Reserve Kingsford playground upgrade

Randwick Council is planning to upgrade the playground at Wills Reserve on Duke Street, Kensington. The reserve provides a quiet, leafy escape for local families who enjoy the park’s grassy area for ball sports, walking the dog, and playing in the playground. We’ve received feedback about the playground’s aging equipment and worn-out rubber surface. In response, we’ve developed a concept design that will give the playground a fresh, new look. Weekend celebrations in Kingsford to officially open new Meeks Street Plaza

The new Meeks Street Plaza in Kingsford will come alive on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 June 2023 as part of official opening celebrations, Randwick Mayor Dylan Parker announced. On Saturday evening, people are encouraged to bring takeaway food from the local restaurants and listen to DJs and live music 4pm to 8pm. A popular children’s playground at Kokoda Park, Kensington will be re-opened with a small event for local children and their families on Saturday 27 November at 3pm. The event will include free gelato, entertainment and Council giveaways.
