It’s time for your kids’ imaginations to run wild! Fitzpatrick Park Playground in Kensington is now complete! After three months of construction the new play space, which caters to the interests and abilities of both older and younger children is ready for play time, announced Randwick Mayor Dylan Parker. “This exciting new play space allows children to explore their imaginations and enjoy the outdoors. Weekend celebrations in Kingsford to officially open new Meeks Street Plaza

The new Meeks Street Plaza in Kingsford will come alive on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 June 2023 as part of official opening celebrations, Randwick Mayor Dylan Parker announced. On Saturday evening, people are encouraged to bring takeaway food from the local restaurants and listen to DJs and live music 4pm to 8pm. There’ll be kids’ entertainment, free doughnuts and bubble tea with official proceedings at 5pm. A popular children’s playground at Kokoda Park, Kensington will be re-opened with a small event for local children and their families on Saturday 27 November at 3pm. The event will include free gelato, entertainment and Council giveaways.
