Randwick Town Hall is about to be transformed. Over the next seven months, the historic venue will be reimagined as part of Town Hall Takeover—an exciting new arts program that hands the keys to local creatives and invites the community to step inside for something truly unexpected.
This innovative initiative brings together artists, makers, thinkers, and performers to recharge the Town Hall with fresh ideas and vibrant experiences. From DIY lantern-making workshops to radical new musicals-in-the-making, live jazz jams, and immersive explorations of history and ecology, every event promises to surprise, delight, and spark conversation.
Rather than being just a civic building, Randwick Town Hall will become a dynamic hub where art meets community. It’s a chance to reflect, play, and connect as stories unfold in unexpected ways. Mayor Dylan Parker said the Town Hall Takeover is all about opening doors and inviting people to experience culture in a fresh, interactive way.
