Woollahra Council is offering a structured program of school holiday activities for children and teenagers during the autumn break, with a focus on nature, creativity and technology.
Activities for Primary School Children
A series of nature-based and educational sessions are available for children aged 4–12. These include:
- Nature Trail Craft workshops where participants build bug hotels and complete themed craft activities
- Junior Writers and Readers sessions combining storytelling and art
- Crafty Scientists workshops exploring the connection between science and creativity
- Virtual reality sessions focused on insects and minibeasts
- Friday Flicks, offering family-friendly film screenings
These activities are held across multiple locations including Woollahra Library at Double Bay, Paddington Library and Watsons Bay Library.

Outdoor programs are also included, such as:
- Harbour Explorers, which introduces children to Sydney Harbour’s marine environment
- Rockpool Ramble Adventure at Nielsen Park, led by marine guides
Activities for Teenagers
The program also includes a range of workshops for ages 13–18, particularly during Youth Week. These sessions focus on skills development and creative learning:
- Robotics workshops covering coding and engineering concepts
- Gaming lounge sessions with access to current gaming platforms
- Anime and manga drawing workshops
- Sustainable skincare sessions
- Origami and cross stitch workshops
- Retro game design and music workshops
All listed teen activities are free, with bookings required.
Booking Information
All sessions require advance booking and places are limited. Activities are scheduled throughout April 2026 across Woollahra Council venues.
