Santa riding waves, snowmen on the beach, and a comic are among the winning artworks of Randwick Mayor Dylan Parker’s 2024 Christmas card competition.
Mayor Parker announced the winners, runners-up, and a special commendation award recently, after receiving a record of 456 entries. “Well done and thank you to all our young community members who entered the competition,” Mayor Parker said.
“The quality of entries was excellent, and showed the amazing young talent and creativity that we have in Randwick City.

The 2024 Mayor’s Christmas card competition was open to students in Kindergarten to Year 6 who attended schools in the Randwick Local Government Area. It was Mayor Parker’s third Christmas card competition.
I love this competition because it gives me a peek at what Christmas means and looks like for the kids in our community,” Mayor Parker said. “Many of the artworks are a wonderful reflection of Christmas in Randwick City.”
All winners, runners-up, and the recipient of the special commendation award will each receive a gift card prize. Their artworks will be featured on Mayor Parker’s official Christmas cards for 2024.
