What We’re Looking For

What You’ll Do
As a freelance writer for Eastern Suburbs Mums, your responsibilities will include:

Writing short and snappy articles, blog posts, or feature stories

Creating content with SEO best practices in mind

Writing with the Eastern Suburbs Mums tone of voice

Working closely with our editor to meet briefs and deadlines

Uploading and formatting your work in WordPress
What We’re After
You’ll need to have:

2–3 years of experience as a content writer, copywriter or blogger

Excellent grammar and attention to detail

A genuine passion for women’s lifestyle and parenting topics

The ability to work both independently and as part of a creative team

Strong organisational skills and time management
Bonus Points If You Have:

A degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or similar

Experience with SEO, WordPress, and content marketing

A background in digital media or social media management

First-hand experience as a parent (we love real-life perspectives!)
