The Waverley Spring School Holiday Program runs from Monday 28 September to Friday 9 October 2026, with activities taking place around the local area and special family events at Bondi Pavilion continuing into the surrounding weekends.

Get Creative at Waverley Woollahra Art School
For kids who could happily spend hours drawing, painting and making things, the Waverley Woollahra Art School Spring Holiday Program is well worth checking out.
The holiday program is available for children aged six years and over and gives young artists the chance to experiment with a variety of creative techniques and materials.
Activities can include charcoal, painting, clay, mixed media, printmaking and more, giving children an opportunity to try something new while developing their creativity.

Matt and Rich have built a reputation for wonderfully ridiculous children’s comedy, and their latest production promises an hour packed with slapstick, songs, chaos and plenty of very silly gags.
If your kids love jokes – particularly the kind that make parents roll their eyes while children collapse into hysterics – this could be one of the holiday highlights.

Here’s one school holiday activity where the parents aren’t allowed to simply sit on the sidelines.
I See You Like This turns the usual parent-child relationship upside down by asking one fascinating question:
How does your child see you?
Running at Bondi Pavilion from 27 September to 11 October, this interactive art experience puts the kids in charge.
Children become the art directors and use props to transform their parent’s face into their own living artwork. A professional photographer then captures the finished creation.
The resulting portraits are funny, imaginative and sometimes surprisingly touching.
Created by artist Jessica Wilson, the project has travelled internationally and has produced almost 2,000 parent-and-child portraits along the way.
It’s a lovely idea for families because you’re not simply watching something together – you’re actually creating the experience together. And you’ll come away with a rather unusual reminder of how your child sees you at this particular moment in their life.
