If you are working on a project that will benefit the local community, environment, or streets and need some help, Waverley’s Small Grants Program might be an option for getting the support you need.

Application process

Applying for a Waverley Small Grant just got a whole lot easier!

Council now uses the popular Smarty Grants online system to manage applications and reporting. The system will assist you in completing your grant application accurately and enable you to view and track your application.

Some of the features of SmartyGrants are:

  • Save your application progress and return to complete your application at a later date;
  • Your application is stored online, so no risk of losing your work;
  • You can be certain that we have received your application when you submit it;
  • If you have used Smartygrants to apply for any other grant, you can use the same login and be able to view and manage all the grants.

Photos

If your proposal is successful Council will request photos illustrating your project to share with the broader community.

  • Obtain individual confirmation. Photo release form here
  • Or if an organisation has confirmed with attendees that photos may be used for promotion, then the organisation itself can sign.
  • If photos feature a child, you need to get the parent or guardian to sign. Photo release form here

Small Grants are available in three streams
