During the pop-up session held on June 11, 2025, at the Maroubra Beach Playground, Mayor Parker discussed the upcoming changes and invited local families to provide their feedback. The proposed upgrades aim to create a more inclusive and engaging space for children of all ages and abilities.

Lifeguard-Themed Play Tower: A new play structure inspired by the beach’s lifeguard towers, featuring slides, climbing nets, and a fireman pole.
