  • Food and beverage: Bring your own picnic. No food or beverage operators.
  • Restrictions: No alcohol. No glass. No camping. No pets. Bring a torch.
  • Parking: Limited street parking only. Use public transport.
  • Local road closures and special event clearways apply to the Darling Point area for New Year’s Eve.
  • Wharf information: Darling Point Wharf closes on New Year’s Eve after the last ferry. Residents should plan accordingly. The nearest Wharf is at Woolloomooloo or Double Bay. As the park is an Alcohol Prohibited Area, patrons arriving by ferry will not be able to have alcohol on them. They will either be refused entry or Alcohol will need to be forfeited.

Caution: Please note this venue has very limited capacity, it is steep with 94 steps and has no disabled access. It is essential to bring a torch and proceed with caution when moving around this site from dusk.

Bins will be provided at street level. There are no bins on the foreshore level. Please bring a waste collection bag and take your rubbish with you.

  • Capacity: 100. Once capacity is reached the site will be closed.
