A song writing program for primary and high school students
Do you sing or play a musical instrument and are interested in joining a band to learn and play original songs?
Bondi WAVE is an 8-week course that teaches high school bands how to write and arrange original music. This October we are returning to the newly refurbished Bondi Pavilion Music Studios! We have all new equipment, PAs and recording facilities to support our amazing young musicians in their creative journeys in the Bondi WAVE program. Each week groups are mentored by a rotating roster of industry professionals (including Jim Elliot from The Cruel Sea, Dan Mac from Art vs Science, Rosie Fitzgerald and Luke O’Loughlin from I Know Leopard and Brendan Gallagher from Karma County) culminating in a concert performance and professional recording. Whether you’re new to music or an experienced player, the Bondi WAVE program is a fantastic introduction to playing in a band and creating original music.
