The annual Barangaroo Artisan Market is back and bigger than ever, with over 60 stallholders taking over the streets on Saturday 11th of May, for a fun-filled day of shopping, live music, entertainment and gourmet treats.

Taking place on the Saturday of the Mothers’ Day weekend, The Streets of Barangaroo will come alive with an array of creative folk including artisans, designers, musicians and more. Market-goers can peruse aisles of ceramics and homewares, meet and chat with local artists, and shop hand-crafted jewellery and locally designed textiles, whilst enjoying free live music and delicious eats along Sydney’s waterfront.

Stallholders include:

  • Vannella Cheese: based in Marrickville, Vannella Cheese is a family-owned business that makes the finest, traditional, handcrafted, Italian cheese in Australia including burrata, buffalo mozzarella and stracciatella.

  • Mama Liu’s: a Sydney based small family business, specialising in a small batch Chinese chilli oil that is handmade and hand bottled in South Western Sydney

  • Goose on the Loose: a team of passionate artisans producing award-winning salami offering a unique range of beef, duck, pork, wild boar, kangaroo and venison salami in carefully curated flavour combinations.

  • LISTO : make the perfect margarita with LISTO’s fresh, preservative free, margarita mix made in NSW.

  • Weerona Wines: a family-owned, boutique winemaker from the Hunter Valley, creating small batch wines from single express grape varieties.

  • The Social Outfit: a fashion label with a difference, providing refugee and new migrant women with training and employment, while using excess fabrics and textiles to create clothing and accessories.

  • Yaingayaingarra: Aboriginal Artist Yaingayaingarra from the Wiradjuri and Kamilaroi nations creates canvas artworks, treasure boxes, rock paintings, dilly bags and emu feather and echidna quill jewellery.

The Streets will be abuzz with live entertainment, DJs and roving performers including: colourful hula hoopers; aerial bike performances; the Mondriettes strutting their stuff in go-go boots and pulling off mind-blowing acrobatics; colourful suit wearing stilt walkers the Hi-Life Horns playing jazz and pop tunes; and the masters of music and mischief the Riot Squad, playing a mix of soul, pop and good old fashioned rock and roll.

Alongside the market, visitors to The Streets can eat, drink, shop and discover over 90 retailers in the bustling precinct. Barangaroo’s mouth-watering line-up of restaurants, cafes and bars has something for everyone with a collection of venues offering casual eats, waterfront dining and cheeky tipple spots.
