Regular Kids Programs Returning at Waverley Library

The Waverley library popular regular kids programs are returning after the summer break , the under 5s children’s programs  will be returning on Monday 29 January. These fun and interactive sessions include Book Babies (0 – 2 years), Rhyme Time (2 – 4 years) and Story Time Fun (3 – 5 years) and are a great way to introduce your child to the love of books, stories and rhymes. Rocket ship touches down at Waverley Park

Waverley Council is thrilled to announce that the “landing” of our new rocket ship at Waverley Park playground successfully took place on Friday 20 October 2023. The excitement began at 10.30am when the rocket ship was delivered on truck to the park, followed by being craned into place alongside a bespoke launch control play tower. The rocket ship begins its journey to Waverley Park from our Sydney-based manufacturer. Image: Proludic. The Waverly Council, City of Sydney and Woollahra Council are organising a problem waste drop-off on recycle it Saturday Recycle a range of household items for free at problem waste drop-off events throughout the year. Problem wastes cannot be recycled through standard facilities and often require specific machines or processes to recycle them.
