Matraville residents have a new place to work out, with a new outdoor gym at Purcell Park now complete and ready for use. Located off Australia Avenue, Randwick City Council’s latest outdoor gym benefits from natural shade provided by nearby trees. Newly planted native species complement existing trees and help integrate the facility into the park’s landscape. Matraville Town Centre Public Domain Masterplan

Randwick Council has developed a draft Public Domain Masterplan and Implementation Plan for the Matraville Town Centre. Based on feedback from the community in 2021, the masterplan is a long-term plan for the town centre, which will guide future public domain improvements for the next 10-20 years.
