Randwick City Council is planning something exciting for local families, especially those with energetic little riders and tweens who love their scooters, BMX bikes, or skateboards! As part of its commitment to supporting outdoor recreation and creating inclusive community spaces, the Council is proposing a brand-new pump park—a dedicated space designed for all ages and skill levels to enjoy BMX riding, mountain biking, skateboarding, and scootering. Waverley Council is inviting the community to have its say about providing safe spaces to exercise dogs in Barracluff Park, North Bondi. Bondi is a densely populated suburb with limited green space but has a high number of young families and people with pets who enjoy the park, including the Council’s new playground at Barracluff Park and the green spaces for exercising dogs on-leash.
