Coogee island challenge

The Coogee Island Challenge is an annual ocean swim at Coogee Beach which navigates around Wedding Cake Island. For over 20 years now, Coogee Surf Life Saving Club has run the Coogee Island Challenge. ​This is an ocean swim event that navigates around Wedding Cake Island with the Spring Challenge in November and the Autumn Challenge in April every year. The Coogee Island Challenge continues to increase in popularity and is a vital part of the fund raising activities of the Club, where entry fees contribute to the purchase of vital lifesaving equipment required during the ​warmer seasons.
