FRINGE KIDS HIGHLIGHTS

AT ARA Darling Quarter Theatre:

Wilbur the Optical Whale (29 – 30 September) will see audiences transported to an underwater world full of stunning circus tricks, digital imagery, lively music, and interactive play. Based on the book by Karen Lee Roberts, Wilbur the Optical Whale is an enchanting story where children are taken on an immersive journey to engage with the environment around them.

101 Ways to Annoy Your Parents and Other Really Old People (23 – 29 September) sees multi award-winning kids comedian Matty Grey bring his hilarious new show to Sydney.

A Wonderfully Wacky Wizard (24 – 25 September) is a hilarious high-energy show full of songs, dances and comedy. Let Winni Wizard take you on a journey as she tries to remember the true meaning of magic and prove that she’s still Wizard worthy.

Flabbergasters (27 – 29 September) Amaze the whole family with mind-boggling magic and superhuman stunts by the Flabbergasters!

Hello Darling Tent, Darling Quarter:

CaBox (24 September) is a free, sustainable and hands-on family event, encouraging creative recycling. Participants craft unique creations using cardboard, which they bring to the Boxwars baottlefield. In a spirited frenzy, these creations are gleefully destroyed, resulting in a cardboard chaos that highlights the impermanence of their work.
