MERRY UKE-MAS
A free unique and unforgettable Christmas concert series, Merry Uke-Mas, will fill Barangaroo Reserve with joy every Sunday 8 – 22 December from 4 – 7pm.
Gather your friends, pack your picnic mats and favourite snacks and enjoy the live music amidst the stunning six-hectare headland of Barangaroo Reserve. Budding musicians can learn the songs from the downloadable songbook, bring their own ukuleles and join in the strumming – or just sit back, relax, and immerse themselves in the sounds of a tropical Christmas.
NATIVE LIVING CHRISTMAS TREES
This Christmas, set your sights on Barangaroo’s unique festive experience that celebrates Indigenous culture and the beauty of the area’s native flora through breathtaking Native Living Christmas Trees.
As you wander through Barangaroo, each tree will invite you on a journey through time, sharing the stories of the precinct and its deep-rooted connection to First Nations people. Renowned First Nations artist, Taleena Simon, has adorned each tree with her artwork, weaving in tales of connection, community, and cultural heritage. Designed by Nadia Duran, the living trees are created with an array of vibrant Australian native plants that can be found right in Barangaroo Reserve.
