Get ready to dive into a world of wintery fun at Darling Harbour’s annual WINTERFEST! From Saturday 6 July until Sunday 21 July, Darling Harbour will be home to a line-up of epic adventures and activities including a FREE 4-day festival, as well as ice skating, frosty films, dazzling fireworks, and so much more.
Escape the chill (but not the thrills) at Darling Harbour’s Tumbalong Park, Winter Park, a free 4-day festival packed with action for the whole family. The line-up of events includes the Winter Gaming Zone where Sydneysiders can play classics like Minecraft, Mario Kart, Just Dance, and more. Over at the Winter Slime Workshop, kids can let their creativity flow and make their very own slime masterpieces to take home. Later in the afternoon, guests can get cosy and enjoy action-filled Winter Adventure Film screenings showcasing the most exhilarating scenes of extreme winter sports. To cap off the night, Winter Park will feature Winter Park Beats, with electrifying tunes from DJs and energetic children’s acts with groovy beats by Soul of Sydney.
The magic of winter continues at Palm Grove Forecourt with WINTERFEST Ice Rink Presented by 2DayFM. Open daily from 10am – 9pm, glide across the sparkling rink with a dazzling Cockle Bay backdrop. This open-air ice skating rink offers the perfect winter escape for both seasoned skaters and newbies.
No Darling Harbour day out is complete without the Winter Skies Fireworks extravaganza! Every evening from Thursday 18 – Sunday 21 July at 8.30pm in Cockle Bay, experience the captivating display of fireworks and booming fire cannon blasts that will leave visitors starry-eyed.
