Looking for something fun and energetic these school holidays? Get ready to feel the rhythm and join in on a hands-on African Drumming Workshop at Watsons Bay Library!
Music and dance have always told amazing stories, and now your kids can create their own. In this interactive workshop, children will explore the beats of the jungle, discover how drumming connects language and culture, and of course—make plenty of joyful noise!
No experience is needed, and all drums are provided. Just bring your energy, curiosity, and maybe a few dance moves. Parents and carers stay too, making it a perfect morning activity for families.
🌿 Tip: Pack a picnic blanket and some sun protection—we might head outdoors if the weather’s kind.
