In our continual hunt for the best high tea experiences in Sydney, we’ve come across the French inspired indulgence at the Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour.
Every Saturday afternoon, experience afternoon tea inspired by Australian fashion illustrator Megan Hess and her acclaimed children’s book, Claris, the Chicest Mouse in Paris. The delicacies are served on Hess’ specially designed limited-edition fine porcelain plates, with matching cutlery.
The kids will be drawn to the irresistible tower of treats including raspberry macaroon, ruby chocolate madeleines, chocolate pocky sticks, scones with jam and cream (Mum’s favourite!), sausage rolls and mini quiche Lorraine. And the piece de resistance has to be the chocolate fountain that flows decadent chocolate where you can dip marshmallows, churros, fried dough, fresh strawberries and sweets.
And Mum and Dads won’t be left out with a huge selection of the finest teas and bubbles.
There is a surprise gift bag for the kids that will leave them feeling super special all the way to bed time that night.
