Tennis, friendship, fierce rallies, and a little fizz—Term 1 at Queens of Aces served up everything we love about women’s tennis (and then some)! With doubles sessions running weekly across the eastern suburbs, this local community of incredible women hit the courts with passion, purpose, and plenty of good humour.
🎾 A Royal Finish to Term 1
The Monday Doubles Finals (7 April) were a sparkling success. From thrilling semis to a high-energy Grand Final, the courts at Centennial were buzzing. Shona & Kyrstie stole the show with a commanding win to take home the crown—and some stunning diamond racquet charm bracelets! From The Upside bags to luxe beauty prize packs, winners and players alike were treated like the tennis royalty they are.
And let’s not forget the Sunday Doubles Finals on 6 April. After a rain delay, Sara & Jordan came back with grit to claim victory in a close 6–4 match. The celebrations? Think champers at The Royal Hotel Paddington, followed by cheeky margs at Tequila Mockingbird. Because when you play like a Queen, you party like one too!
