Escape the ordinary and indulge in a day of fine dining, adventure and storytelling all in one of NSW’s most extraordinary landscapes.

When: 25 and 26 October 2025

Where: Secret Location, on the Lower Hawkesbury River

The adventure begins the moment you arrive at Broken Bay Pearl Farm’s Shellar Door. After a warm welcome, you’ll board our riverboat, cocktail in hand, and cruise along the Lower Hawkesbury’s winding estuaries past working oyster leases to our secret, water-access-only location – a private homestead steeped in character.

A short bush path leads you to elegantly set long tables overlooking the river. Here, acclaimed WA Chef Guy Jeffreys will serve a curated six-course menu celebrating the freshest regional produce, including Sydney Rock and Akoya oysters, all expertly paired with wines and beverages.

Throughout the afternoon, meet the farmers behind Australia’s three native pearl species, witness the magic of a live pearl harvest, and hear stories from Australia’s rich pearling history. You’ll also have the chance to browse exquisite Australian Saltwater pearl jewellery, enjoy live local music and performance art, and make new friends!

As the sun begins to soften, you’ll cruise back to the Shellar Door, a beautiful end to a day of flavours, beauty and connection.
