Construction begins to make McKeon Street Plaza permanent

Construction is underway at Maroubra Beach to transform a temporary public space into a new plaza providing a permanent space for people to gather and meet, Randwick Mayor Dylan Parker announced today. From 1 July 2023 Randwick City Council will undertake a trial to waive fees for the use of nominated community centres and halls for eligible local community groups.
