National Youth Week 2024 will be celebrated in New South Wales from 11-21 April, with a number of exciting events taking place across Randwick City.
This year’s Youth Week theme is Express. Empower. Get Loud. It’s an opportunity to have fun and share ideas.
Maroubra local and Gomeroi man Kobie Dee will be bringing his musical talent and love for his community to the South East Block Party at Coral Sea Park to celebrate National Youth Week on Wednesday April 24th from 3pm to 7pm.
Randwick City Council is partnering with Weave Youth & Community Services again this year to bring the community free entertainment, free food and fun activities.
The South East Block Party helps to provide a spotlight for local talent in the Maroubra area. It also provides an opportunity for the community to come together and support each and raise awareness of important issues like mental health.
In addition to the South East Block Party, there will also be some other fun events scattered throughout Youth Week 2024, including: a Skateboarding & Arts Workshop with prizes as well as BBQ at Maroubra Skatepark.
