Hi There, I’m Diana, a local mum with a people mover to fit my growing brood on our way to endless after school activities and sport. Loving the very busy life we have and giving any free time to family, friends and various volunteer work.
Where and how long have you lived in Sydney’s east?
I was born and raised in Coogee, it will always be my favourite suburb in Sydney, but we have bought our forever home in Maroubra.

How many children?
We have 4 children – 3 girls and 1 boy, currently aged 9, 6, 4, 3
Yes it’s a little intense at times, all the time, but fun
Favourite Park:
Have to love Centennial park, it holds so many memories. It’s just a great spot for absolutely everything
Favourite Beach:
Coogee Beach is our fav local. It’s easy and has whatever the kids need just a few meters away – which is crucial with 4 hungry gremlins
Favourite kid friendly cafe:
The Pavillion – has the space for kids to run around and play. I’ve only lost 1 child twice, pretty good.
Favourite Coffee Spot:
For a quick TA coffee I do love Tailor Espresso in Maroubra. Seasalt in Clovelly is a nice spot to sit and relax, take in that ocean air before your toddler spills a baby chino on you.
Favourite date night place:
Icebergs Bondi and Margaret’s Double Bay – great cocktails (and food) that’s all that matters
Where in the east have you yet to explore and would like to ?
Gunyama park! Unbelievably I haven’t made it there yet, you would assume I should have by now seeing as it’s a no brainer to keep kids entertained
What would you like to see improve in the eastern suburbs?
It would be great to have more places for adults to kick back while kids can be entertained and not restricted to a chair or escaping – we all know a child that’s a “runner”! The Pavillion has a great set up and I’d love to see more venues like that
Favourite Local Shop: Melonhead! Yummm. It’s my bribery tool to get the kids away from the ice cream next door.
Favourite wet weather location:
Have to say home xxxx and the movies at Eastgardens. Everyone loves a bit of popcorn and a choc top ….. together
Favourite Local family Weekend Activity?
We love summer at the beach. Sundays we divide and conquer – half at Minnows and the other half making sand castles, then we meet up for a picnic. Winning
Work or SAHM?
Was a SAHM for a long time but felt the need for some cranial stimulation so I’ve just gone back to work! Wish me luck. How to get dinner ready on time hmmmmm. Time is not my BFF at the moment
