Looking for a fun and educational after-school activity for your little one? Watsons Bay Library is hosting a free Mini Makers: Coding with Osmo session on Wednesday, 6 August 2025, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM — and it’s perfect for curious kids aged 5 to 9!

This hands-on workshop is a gentle and engaging introduction to the world of coding, designed specifically for young beginners. Using Osmo kits, children will explore basic coding concepts by physically placing blocks and creating sequences to guide characters through interactive challenges. It’s screen-based learning combined with tangible play — the best of both worlds.

The best part? No experience or materials are needed. Everything is provided, and all your child needs to bring is their enthusiasm and imagination!

This session is a great way for kids to:

  • Develop problem-solving and logic skills

  • Build confidence using technology

  • Work independently and collaboratively in a fun, supportive space

Parents are required to remain on site for the duration of the session, and those with new or younger participants are encouraged to stay nearby to support their child’s learning journey.
