If you’re looking for a weekend activity that’s a little bit different, fun, and educational all at once, this one is for you! Bees might be tiny, but their impact on our lives is enormous — from pollinating the food we eat to producing that golden, sticky goodness we all love.
Now, Centennial Parklands is giving families the chance to step inside the fascinating world of bees with a guided tour and honey tasting experience. It’s a hands-on adventure that lets you see what life is really like inside a beehive, meet the experts who care for the hives, and discover just how important these buzzing little creatures are to our environment and food security.
Whether you’re a mum looking for a unique activity to do with your teen, a nature lover curious about beekeeping, or simply someone who can’t resist honey straight from the comb, this experience is a chance to learn, taste, and connect with nature in a whole new way.
