Step into the Magic Garden with ARIA-nominated children’s band The Vegetable Plot for a fun and inspiring songwriting workshop these school holidays at Bondi Pavilion.

In this interactive 45-minute session, kids will discover the joy of music-making while learning from some of Australia’s favourite veggie characters. Ru Barb will guide participants through vocal warm-ups and harmonies, Aspara Gus will share songwriting secrets, and Sir Paul McCarrotney will bring the groove. Together, the group will create something fresh and new—planting seeds of musical inspiration that can grow for years to come.

Built around some of The Vegetable Plot’s most popular songs, this workshop encourages creativity, teamwork, and a love of music. Originally commissioned by the Sydney Opera House, it’s the perfect opportunity for young budding musicians to get hands-on with the songwriting process.
