Live music is returning to Randwick City this Saturday, 18 July, as the Amplify music program officially kicks off with free performances across Maroubra, La Perouse, Coogee and Randwick.
But the excitement doesn’t end this weekend. Amplify is set to bring live music to streets, beaches and town centres across the city for almost an entire year, creating a vibrant atmosphere for locals and visitors to enjoy while shopping, dining or spending time outdoors.
Free Live Music This Saturday
The opening day of Amplify features five talented performers entertaining audiences across some of Randwick City’s most popular locations.

Whether you’re grabbing lunch, heading to the beach or enjoying dinner with family and friends, you’ll be able to enjoy free live entertainment throughout the day.
A Full Year of Music Across Randwick City
Following this Saturday’s launch, the Amplify program will continue fortnightly from 18 July 2026 until 26 June 2027, bringing regular live performances to five locations throughout Randwick City.
During the busy summer period, performances will become weekly from 5 December 2026 to 9 January 2027, making it even easier to enjoy live music during the festive season. (On Boxing Day there will be one performance only at the Coogee Rainbow Walkway.)
From 1 August 2026, the program will expand even further with two additional monthly venues:
- Meeks Street Plaza, Kingsford
- Waratah Plaza, Randwick
These locations will host performances from 11am to 2pm on selected Saturdays through to 26 June 2027, with weekly performances also joining the summer holiday schedule.
The Amplify program is designed to showcase talented local musicians while creating a lively atmosphere throughout Randwick City’s shopping precincts, beaches and public spaces. Whether you’re out for coffee, browsing local shops, enjoying a meal or spending the day by the coast, there’s a good chance you’ll be treated to free live music throughout the year.
With performances scheduled across multiple suburbs and seasons, Amplify promises to become a regular highlight of weekends in Randwick City.
