Woollahra Council is hosting Harbour Explorers, an educational school holiday activity designed for children aged 8+ and their families

This session introduces participants to the marine ecosystems of Sydney Harbour and the work being done to restore them. Delivered in collaboration with scientists from the Sydney Institute of Marine Science (SIMS), the program focuses on local biodiversity and habitat restoration.

Participants will learn about Project Restore, a Sydney-based initiative aimed at improving marine environments such as seagrass meadows, kelp forests and fish habitats, including the installation of Living Seawalls.

Program Overview

  • Guided walk to the Living Seawall installation
  • Information on marine habitats and biodiversity
