On Sunday, 18 August 2024, Greater Sydney Parklands invites you to experience the wildly popular Science in the Swamp – a day filled with with fun, free activities for young curious minds. The action-packed event is the perfect opportunity to engage with science in a fun, interactive way. You can meet a life-sized roaming dinosaur, see Aussie animals, talk to real life scientists, participate in hands-on experiments and explore more than 30 stalls.

- Dr Graham’s Blow Up Science Show – Witness jaw-dropping experiments featuring nitrogen-powered teddy bears, a marshmallow launcher, and explosive surprises.
- Cool Aeronautics – Design, build, and fly your own mini helicopter with guidance from aerospace engineers.
- Rooftop Bees – Watch busy bees at work in an observation hive and taste a range of delicious honeys.
- Indigenous Science – Participate in hands-on science experiments with the team from Macquarie University’s National Indigenous Science Education Program
