Maroubra families, get excited – your favourite local market is growing! Thanks to the incredible success of the Maroubra Beach Market, a brand-new second monthly market will soon be launching at Heffron Park from October onwards. That means double the stalls, double the fun, and double the reasons to shop local and enjoy a great family day out.

But first, don’t forget the next Maroubra Beach Market on Saturday, 6 September at Broadarrow Reserve, right by the sand. With over 120 stalls, this lively market brings together the very best of fresh produce, artisan food, fashion, homewares, crafts, plants, flowers, and art.

Highlights include:

  • Fresh produce from Farmer and Son

  • Local honey from Bezo Bees

  • Middle Eastern delights at Gamal Falafel Bar

  • Handmade ceramics by local artist Ju Proena

  • Organic gourmet eats from Agape Organic Food Truck

  • Dog treats and accessories from Kristine’s K9 Treats and Charli and Molly

  • Vintage treasures and vinyls from Lola Pianola

There’s also a dedicated sustainable living section with vintage and recycled goods, plus dining areas where you can sit, relax, and enjoy the coastal atmosphere.

Why families love it: It’s not just about shopping – the market is a full day out. With food trucks, live entertainment, and kid-friendly vibes, parents can browse while kids enjoy tasty snacks and open space to play. Even four-legged family members are welcome, with plenty of stalls catering just to dogs!

So mark your calendars:

  • Saturday 6 September – Maroubra Beach Market, Broadarrow Reserve

  • From October – NEW Heffron Park Market (details coming soon!)
