Coogee’s favourite festive tradition is back! Randwick City Council proudly presents the 24th Annual Coogee Carols on Sunday 21 December 2025, from 6.30pm–8.30pm at Goldstein Reserve, Coogee Beach.
This much-loved free community event brings families, friends and neighbours together to celebrate the spirit of Christmas in one of Sydney’s most iconic beachside locations. Bring a picnic rug, settle in on the grass and enjoy a relaxed summer evening filled with music, joy and holiday cheer.

Hosted by Amanda Keller and Alex Lee
This year’s Coogee Carols will be co-hosted by TV and radio favourites Amanda Keller and Alex Lee, who will guide the night with plenty of warmth and fun.
A digital songbook will be available closer to the date so everyone can sing along to their favourite Christmas classics.
Planning Your Night
To help you enjoy the evening:

Arrive early to secure a good spot on the grass.

No marquees or cabanas are permitted.

Parking is limited — please walk, cycle, use public transport or catch a rideshare.

No glass, alcohol or smoking anywhere on Coogee Beach or the surrounding reserves.

Bring sunscreen, hats and plenty of water.

Security and first aid teams will be onsite from 1pm–9pm.

Dogs are welcome, but be mindful that it gets busy and loud once the show begins.
Accessible Services

A designated accessible seating area with a hearing loop will be clearly signed.

Accessible parking is available in the Coogee Parking Area (until full). Show your blue badge to security on arrival.

Auslan interpreters will be present — you can see them on the big screens throughout the event.
Traffic & Transport

Public transport will operate as normal — check transportnsw.info for bus information.

Buses only will be allowed on Arden Street (Carr St to Dolphin St) under police direction with a 10km/h speed limit.

After the event, from 8pm–9.15pm:

Arden St (Carr–Bream) will be closed

Coogee Bay Rd (Arden–Vicar) will be closed

Car Park Closures

The Coogee Parking Area on Dolphin St (near Coogee Pavilion) will be closed from 12pm–10pm.

Accessible parking remains available until full — blue badge required.
Fireworks Finale
The evening will finish with a five-minute fireworks display at 8.30pm.
