Each October, the Sydney Kids Committee brings together our community for an evening of elegance, celebration, and generosity. This year marks the 31st Annual Colours of Spring Gala Ball, to be held on Saturday, 18 October 2025 at the Fullerton Hotel Sydney. It promises to be a night to remember — and most importantly, an opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of sick and injured children at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.
A Night of Celebration for a Worthy Cause
The Colours of Spring Ball is not just another black-tie event on Sydney’s social calendar. Since 1993, the Sydney Kids Committee — a very small group of passionate volunteers — has raised nearly $1.5 million for Sydney Children’s Hospital. Every dollar goes directly to funding equipment and initiatives that improve care for young patients and their families.
For many of us, we are lucky never to have needed the services of a children’s hospital. But for those who do, often without warning, the care and expertise of doctors, nurses, and health professionals is life-changing. That is why events like the Colours of Spring Ball are so important: together, we can help ensure every child gets the best chance at recovery.
This year’s fundraising focus is the purchase of critical hospital equipment, including the innovative Speedy Wet Cadet® packaging system for the hospital pharmacy. This machine will make dispensing life-saving medication faster and safer for children in urgent need.
What to Expect at the 2025 Ball
Guests will enjoy a glamorous evening of fine dining, premium wines courtesy of Tamburlaine Organic Wines, and unforgettable entertainment from Planet GROOVE, one of Sydney’s most dynamic live acts. Our hosts, beloved television personalities Dimity Clancy and Rodger Corser, will guide the evening and set the stage for live auctions, raffles, and surprises throughout the night.
One of the most exciting highlights will be the live auction and raffle, featuring exclusive experiences and prizes you won’t find anywhere else. This year, we are especially thrilled to showcase the ‘Colours of Spring’ necklace, designed exclusively for the event by Oroginale Fine Jewellery. Valued at an incredible $17,000, this dazzling piece will be a major raffle prize — and limited tickets are available now.
