Join in for a free and interactive yarn and storytelling sessions at Barangaroo Reserve. During November, join the friendly Visitor Services team at Barangaroo to read, share and learn stories from many mobs around Australia. they will have a variety of different tools and weapons on display – to learn about and interact with. Enter via Towns Place, walk along the path past Marrinawi Cove and you’ll find the team on the grass. Everyone is welcome to drop in, no registrations required. Rocket ship touches down at Waverley Park

Waverley Council is thrilled to announce that the “landing” of our new rocket ship at Waverley Park playground successfully took place on Friday 20 October 2023. The excitement began at 10.30am when the rocket ship was delivered on truck to the park, followed by being craned into place alongside a bespoke launch control play tower. The DRLC Splash Park is officially open

It’s here! The DRLC Splash Park officially opened on Sunday, October 8th. The event was graced by the presence of the newly elected Randwick Council Mayor, Philipa Veitch, along with Councillors and esteemed guests. Construction is underway at Maroubra Beach to transform a temporary public space into a new plaza providing a permanent space for people to gather and meet, Randwick Mayor Dylan Parker announced today.
