Installation of new BBQs at Bronte Beach

New barbecues will be installed in Bronte Park from Monday 20 February 2023 and work is expected to take three weeks to complete (weather permitting). During this time, power to existing barbecues will be cut to facilitate works. Council has engaged DA Christie to complete these works and work hours will be from 7am-5pm Monday to Friday and 8am-1pm Saturdays (if required). New female changerooms at Trumper Oval to encourage more local girls to play sport

Mayor Susan Wynne was overjoyed to join NSW Sports Minister Alister Henskens, local members Alex Greenwich and Gabrielle Upton, and representatives of the AFL to announce the new female changeroom facilities at Trumper Oval last week. Easts Bulldogs Junior AFL Club has received a $310,000 grant from NSW Office of Sport for the changeroom upgrade. Council has contributed an additional $40,000 and AFL NSW another $37,000. The upgrade will include a complete renewal of the changerooms, toilets (including a new accessible public toilet), showers and umpiring areas to improve accessibility and safety for female members, those with a disability as…
