Bondi lifeguards urge beachgoers to be savvy on safety
Waverley Council has officially launched its ‘Stay Safe this Summer’ campaign! Featuring Waverley’s lifeguards, the campaign urges the local community and visitors to take simple steps to stay safe whilst at Bondi, Bronte and Tamarama beaches. Waverley Council has the longest patrol hours in Australia, between 6am and 7pm every day throughout summer. The campaign highlights the importance of swimming between the flags and provides advice on what to do should you get into trouble in the ocean, such as caught in a rip.
